Our Story

Food has always been part of my life . As a little girl , I would watch my parents run their restaurant, learning how much love and care goes into every dish . Those early memories stayed with me , and they sparked my dream to one day continue what they started . As an immigrant to the United States , I wanted to share the flavors and traditions that shaped me -and that includes my husband's family recipes too.

 

Why Lucky 8 ? 

Lucky 8 is very special to me . I started the business in 2024 the same year my daughter was born , and I felt truly lucky and blessed . The number 8 is also considered lucky in my culture ,symbolizing prosperity , happiness ,and good fortune . All the things I hope to bring to every table through our food .

At Lucky 8 Catering , we serve asian street foods ,from Taiwanese popcorn chicken , Gua Bao ( pork belly bun ) ,dumplings , noodles ,and more .Every dish is crafted to share the flavors of our heritage . 

Whether at a festival , pop-up,or private event , our food is all about bringing people together ,celebrating culture and making every bite memorable .
